Australian Mining Prospect Awards

The Australian Mining Prospect Awards aim to encourage, recognise and reward excellence in the Australian mining industry.

In accordance with its corporate values of quality and leadership, Maptek is sponsoring the category of Explorer of the Year in 2008.

Nominations will be accepted from mine personnel and any mining company/contractor associated with the Australian mining industry. Entry is free.

Nominees should outline how a company has made new discoveries or significantly extended known deposits by innovatively reinterpreting data or by using new data, technology, processes or techniques.

Applications should include:

• succinct description of achievement
• methods, technology or techniques used

All entries must be received no later than 19 June 2008 to meet judging and production deadlines.

The winners will be presented with their trophies and certificates at an awards presentation ceremony and dinner in
Sydney on Wednesday 22 October.
