Maptek Vulcan™ software provides advanced 3D spatial information,
modelling, visualisation and analysis in fields ranging from mining
to defence, environmental management and urban planning. More
than 3500 licences of Vulcan are installed around the world in the
mining industry alone. Linking Vulcan's capability to model
large volume spatial data to inputs from laser imaging devices led
to the development of Maptek I-Site™ 3D Laser Imaging hardware and software products. Laser scanning can be used in the mining,
engineering, surveying, defence and entertainment industries to
create 3D models for a wide variety of spatial and volumetric analysis
tasks.
Maptek MineSuite™ is a collection of integrated software and hardware modules which provide a complete production monitoring and fleet management system for the mining industry. MineSuite allows tracking, monitoring, control and reporting of all products, equipment, processes and personnel in any mining operation. With the ability to configure user-defined key performance indicators and comprehensive reports, MineSuite provides mine owners and operators with the information needed to efficiently manage their operation, thus reducing operating costs while improving performance, productivity and profitability.
Maptek IT provides Consulting and Managed Information Technology Services to the mining industry.
