We deliver discovery-to-marketplace solutions including Maptek Vulcan™, Maptek MineSuite™ and Maptek I-Site™, as well as highly regarded professional services from a network of offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and overseas.

Vulcan, our dynamic 3D modelling and mine planning software system, is highly regarded in the mining industry and is used world-wide for resources modelling and related fields. Vulcan software has a long history of setting and maintaining the benchmark for spatial modelling, analysis and design, and is recognised by our clients as delivering important capability for a wide range of operations in that industry globally.

To keep pace with the growth in our industry, we are expanding our Perth and Sydney-based Vulcan Product Development Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the development lifecycle, from initial ideas to algorithms, interface design and beyond.

You must have tertiary Computing qualifications or equivalent industry experience. Willingness to work in a team, excellent communication and time management skills are also required. To be successful in this position, you must have 2+ years in C/C++ and Windows NT/XP exposure. In addition, 3D graphics knowledge, GIS mining exposure, and OO concepts are desirable. Strong mathematical and analytical skills would be an advantage.
